11300 - Revised 05-99 Fred and Thelma (Lawrence) Tucker. This picture was taken about 1950-60 at their home south of Como. Fred and Thelma were farmers all their married life until they retired and moved to Como. Fred's ancestors came to Henry County from Virginia and possibly through North Carolina. The first ancestor we have been able to find is Henry Tucker his son William was born in 1800 and married Anna Little. Mary Frances (Tucker) Owen. This picture was taken about 1950 at the home of Willie and Mary Lawrence shortly after she married Dewey Owen.
