New Bethel Church as it looked many years ago. This was probably the original building. The picture was probably taken sometime in the 1940's as there is a light above the door. New Bethel church is located northwest of Henry, Tennessee. This has a large cemetery (see Cemetery pages) Like most of the old churches it is the history of the community. It was my good fortune to have visited this old church when it looked like this and also I have visited the new remodeled church. Over the years most of the people who lived in this community went to this church and many, many of them are buried in it's cemetery. Would like to have someone send me information about the history of this church. We will put all information we can find and also give credit to those who furnish information.
